Continuing our series of getting to know the Diamond Banc staff, we have Sicily Von Blakey. Sicily is the Managing Director of the Diamond Banc location in Kansas City.

Sicily is not only a great people person, but she also has the jewelry knowledge that you would want in a Diamond Banc staff member. She is certified through the G.I.A. (Gemological Institute of America) as a diamond graduate. In addition, she is in the process of getting her graduate gemologist degree.

Sicily says, “The coolest item I ever bought was a vintage timepiece from 1948. This vintage timepiece was gifted to a fallen soldier from World War II, then was gifted to his wife by his fellow soldiers. It just meant a lot to her to know that it was going to a good collector that was going to cherish it.”

Sicily loves coming to work at Diamond Banc in Kansas City every day. According to her, her favorite part of the job is getting to meet clients and looking at very interesting and unique pieces. When asked what her favorite jewelry was, Sicily said she loves the estate pieces and the heirloom jewelry.
